Frequently asked questions

What if my PDF doesn’t have any fields listed?

It doesn’t contain a fillable AcroForm — those flat, print-and-sign-style PDFs don’t have real form fields to detect. Try Sign PDF to add a drawn signature instead.

What does “Flatten the form” do?

It turns your typed answers into permanent page content, so the form can’t be edited or refilled afterwards. Leave it unchecked if you want the fields to stay editable.

Are checkboxes and dropdowns supported?

Yes — text fields, checkboxes, dropdowns and radio buttons are all detected and can be filled in.

What about signature fields?

Digital signature fields aren’t supported by this tool and are left as they are. Use Sign PDF to add a drawn signature image instead.
