Frequently asked questions
What unit are the margins in?
Points — 72 points make an inch (25.4 mm). For example, to trim half an inch, enter 36.
Can I crop different amounts on different pages?
Not in one pass — the same margins apply to every page. For pages that need different treatment, split the PDF first and crop each part separately.
Does cropping reduce the file size?
A little, but not much — it only changes the visible area, not the underlying content. Use Compress PDF if file size is the goal.
Can I undo a crop later?
No — keep your original file if you might need the full page again later.
